Hospital Baca Ortiz is one of the largest children’s hospitals in Ecuador and provides emergency and long-term care for Ecuadorian children. Although the hospital is funded by the State, have enough funds to cover patient care, and therefore also the poorest families pay for medical care. large units, the hospital has a department for cancer therapy, a division of trauma, burns, cardiology units and respiratory intensive care for newborn babies and older children, and outpatient care, and many others. Children come from all over Ecuador to address this position in the center of Quito. Volunteers must be 18 years or older with at least secondary education.

Volunteers can help by doing the following tasks: –

Volunteers are needed to help with the tasks according to their skills and certifications. general without training volunteers who want to help the hospital will make social visits to patients, where the need is greatest.
